Perception..(Poem)

 Perception...

I have watched your eyes
They light up with a smile

I stand here petrified
As I look in your eyes

I have seen your soul
It glows like full rose

I have found the world laying up in your arms
Before that I was a lil kid who knew no charms

We spend our lives  for things we can't find
Not a day goes by where you don't cross my mind

You're the spark that starts the fire
Tell me you are the one to keep prior

Since we met I feel a lightness in my step
I feel, I was caught before in a deadly web

I tend to drink more than Im recommended
This world ain't exactly what my heart expected

You ask some preacher, I'm all out of faith
You have the last slot, don't take it to the waste

I spend Sundays asleep, said my believer
To be honest I'm just another dreamer

I guess I'm not good with ignoring either
You are just what I call a good keeper
