The Little Tramp... (Poem)

Born in London with no father
Had to work twice for his mother

Mother got admitted in the asylum
His devotion to comedy was solemn

He made his first debut in the show
People saw potential, but still it was low

He said:"It was like tidings from heaven"
The Original Holmes made him overdriven

His brother"pale, puny, sullen-looking youngster"
Made a debut, got contract and name on rooster

The pants baggy, the hat small
Started directing his own, afterall

In 1915 he became a cultural phenomenon
Every director needed him like some alumina

He made silent films and was afraid of talkies
Still he got fame and kept people in curiosities

We call him funny but whats in him no one knows
He made riches from nothing thats what glows
